Weaknesses: As a person, Sache can seem cold and indifferent. While serious, she does care about many things in her life, though is wary of emotional ties. However, due to her raising as a Jedi, she finds herself unable to express it, even if other Jedi are less strict than she is.
She does not do particularly well in flight, and has never learned how to pilot. Though extraordinarily resourceful, she relies too much on traps and not enough on her own powers. While she seems almost indifferent to danger, she fears a death that would mean nothing in a grand scheme of things.
Strengths: In her training as a Padawan, Sache learned many things from her mentor. She quickly became used to adapting in all situations, and became an expert at security hacking and demolitions. She’s still working on her skills to become effective at repairs. She is a great peaceful mediator and an excellent long-term strategist. She hones her idea of simple tactics in practicing the game of Pazaak.
Force Sensitivity: Sache has developed many sense-heightening Force powers, as she meditates constantly to dwell on her inner self and to discipline her mind. These senses include awareness of others' intentions. As her mentor practiced the art of defensive attacking (their missions rarely required killing, but used forms of suppression), she finds herself not as apt at using the force to kill or cause severe, permanent damage.
Faction: Sache, after much consideration, has left the home and life she has build for herself on Dantooine in order to follow Revan and Malak, becoming a Renegade Jedi.
Reputation: Before she left for the Mandalorian War, she was respected highly by Jedi of a higher rank than her. However, she does not have many close friends.
Personality: Sache Tulio is hardworking, loyal, and honest. She is quiet and serious, and though many who have not met her do not think she is capable of emotion, she does not begrudge a smile where a smile is due. She even has a wry, tired sort of humor if a person was to take the time to hear it. She is determined but not headstrong, and by being respectful and polite she can reject the counsel of others without offending them. She was born with patience and is slow to anger. Sache was trained resourcefulness by her mentor, and enjoys taking the quiet time to fix things. She has the potential to be an excellent speaker, and in her time persuading in mediating she knows how to debate successfully.
She finds it hard to communicate with others on a personal level. Though many believe her to fit the stereotype Jedi mold, she actually does care for people very much. She knows fair standards to hold people to, and holds onto people’s past mistakes in making assessments about them, almost going so far as to hold grudges.
Background: Sache Tulio was born on the populated planet of Telos, on the outskirts of a very highly populated city. Though usually Force-adapts are usually found shortly after birth, the sheer amount of life on Telos kept Sache hidden for many years. She was raised by her poor mother and older brother until she was three years of age. At that time, she began showing signs of Force sensitivity. Because the family didn’t have a steady income of credits (her father had died a few months before she was born), Sache’s mother gave her up to the Jedi in hopes that she would have a better life. Though she is aware that she had a mother and brother on Telos, she has never met them, as the Jedi Code forbids emotional attachments.
Brought to Dantooine, Sache was taught with the rest of the younglings. From a startlingly young age she accepted what she was told, strongly believing in the Jedi Code and forgoing the usual stubborn independence children have. Though this was not uncommon in children who have been in Jedi training, she showed a surprising amount of adult’s levelheaded behavior—something that was almost stoic. Though this make her not have many friends, this was smiled upon by the Jedi Masters, sure that she carried the potential to become a great member of the Jedi Council one day.
However, instead of being chosen to become a Padawan to a Jedi Consular, she was chosen by a Sentinel. From him, she learned mediating tactics and (when necessary) how to fight, and spent time with him for many years. Unfortunately, in a nasty fight with a group of raiders, he was killed just before Sache’s trials to become a Jedi Knight. When it became time for her to choose what type of Jedi Knight she was to be, she shocked many people by following in her mentor’s footsteps as a Jedi Sentinel. Instead of striving to become a member of the Jedi Counsel, she planned to become a mediator on Dantooine—someone who helps others and protects the innocent, though in more of a local zone than any of the other Jedi, who travel the galaxy. Rumor has it that she only became a Sentinel because of her mentor’s untimely death.
Before she could have much influence, the Mandalorian War broke out. The Republic called out for help to the Jedi Counsel… and the Counsel refused to even supply the least bit of aid. Revan and Malak, younger Jedi than her, left the Dantooine Academy to help the Republic, though the Jedi had been forbidden to do so. They called for the aid of their Jedi kin to follow them to their cause. Sache deliberated for a long time before abandoning her home to follow them as well—the biggest shock to the Counsel of all.
Even now, as she travels to follow Revan and Malak to fight, she is unsure if she is making the right choice…
Personal Inventory: She brought with her only the things she could carry on her back, and even that is not much. A spare Jedi robe and a Pazaac deck tucked neatly in a rucksack that looks worst for the wear in a larger section, and a small stash of credits in case of emergency is in another pocket. On her utility belt is her single-bladed lightsaber she had created on Dantooine on becoming a Sentinel. She also owns a bracelet, which is her only object of sentimental value.
